This will start you on the road to be a fully qualified Account.
All IATI / ATI graduates can proceed to this level and will study Management Accounting.
2009/10 graduates will study Financial Accounting; pre 2009 graduates will study Information Systems.
Mondays 7 - 10.00pm Each course is 40 hours long; Fee per subject is €350
Professional 1 consists of 4 courses: Auditing, Managerial Final, Corporate Reporting, Corporate Laws & Governance.
Classes are Mon, Wed & some Sats. Fee per subject €380.

This is a HETAC Level 6, 2 year course. It aims to equip supervisors, team leaders and first line managers or those planning to become a supervisor with the knowledge, skills and techniques necessary in a supervisory role. Participants come from every type of organisation. Progress is possible within NCI framework of higher awards-Higher Cert., BA etc. Starts Tues 12th Oct.

Fetac level 5. This course is open to individuals with an interest in caring for older people. This includes those who work in nursing homes, day care centres or in clients home. Family members caring for elderly relatives would also benefit from doing this course. This is a 35 hr course. 10 evenings and 2 Sats 09/10 and 06/11.

ICS Skills (ECDL)

|
ICS Skills is the certification body for ECDL in Ireland
|
|
ECDL (European Computer Driving Licence) is the world's most successful IT skills certification. It verifies competence in computer use. There are 7 modules, with an exam in each. More info at www.ics-skills.ie
Fee for term includes Skills Card. The modules in Word, Excel and Powerpoint are taught and tested in Term 1. Participants re-enrol in January for other 4 modules. Version 5 will be taught and examined. Further details from www.ics-skills.ie

Leaving Cerificate Subjects

The one year courses on offer for the Leaving Certificate will require a high level of commitment and several hours of study apart from class. leaving Cert. Higher Level Geography (Mon) and Maths Ordinary Level will be from 7-10pm. €360 per subject.

This club meets every Monday in Boyne Community School 7.30 — 9.30. It provides a social outlet in a safe friendly environment for people aged 15 upwards with intellectual disability and special needs.
